Shadows of Duchamp readymades (gallery)

This group of Duchamp readymade shadows was taken in the Duchamp Gallery at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I almost never alter the colour of a photo, but in this case the fusion of readymade and colour attempts to discover whether I’d feel synesthetically about the connection. Although the experiment produces more of a reverse-engineered synesthesia, the pairing did seem right to me, somehow, even inevitably (if only to me).
